Night in the Ruts is the sixth studio album by the American hard rock band Aerosmith. It was released on 16 November 1979 on the CBS Records label in Europe and on Columbia Records in North America. It was produced by Gary Lyons and the band. A fun fact about the album is that Night in the Ruts is a play on words of Right in the nuts, aimed at those who thought Aerosmith was a finished band after the album Draw the Line.
