QUEEN - Queen II (LP)

Queen II is the second album by the British rock band Queen, released in 1974 under the EMI label. Recorded in 1973 at Trident Studios in London, it was co-produced by Roy Thomas Baker, Robin Cable and mixed by Mike Stone. Upon its release, it remained on the UK charts for 29 weeks, including 11 consecutive weeks where it reached the fifth position in the UK best-sellers chart before making a reappearance in 2011. Today, Queen II is seen as a very significant album in the history of music as well as in the band's career. The members of Queen do not hesitate to demonstrate their versatility in rock, heavy metal and even progressive rock, while showcasing the foundation of what would become over time their unique sound rich in orchestrated guitar arrangements, multi-track recording saturation and vocal harmonies.
