Formed in 1979 by DJ and promoter Jock McDonald, the British punk band The Bollock Brothers has maintained a prolific recording career and touring schedule for over thirty years with a loyal fan base in France, Belgium, and Germany. Noted for their covers of Led Zeppelin, Alex Harvey Band, and David Bowie, their electro cover of “Never Mind The Bollocks” by the Sex Pistols is among their most critically acclaimed. In a sort of publicity stunt, the album features Michael Fagan, the man who entered HRH the Queen's bedroom at Buckingham Palace in 1982. Filled with drum machines and synthesizers, the album's appeal lies in McDonald's cheeky performance of songs so robust that they can withstand any reinterpretation, however irreverent it may be. The second of their four albums released on Charly in the early 1980s, this reissue has been remastered from the original tapes and is presented here on 180-gram fluorescent pink vinyl.
