Faith is the third studio album by the British band The Cure, released on 14 April 1981.
After rehearsing their new songs during the winter of 1980, the band recorded Faith in February 1981 at Morgan Studios in London, under the direction of producer Mike Hedges. The Cure then consisted of Robert Smith on vocals, keyboards, and guitar, Simon Gallup on bass, and Lol Tolhurst on drums. Faith was released in April 1981 by Fiction Records and distributed by Polydor. The album cover, created by Parched Art (Porl Thompson and Undy Vella), depicts the ruins of Bolton Priory in the fog.
