Wish is the ninth studio album by the British rock band The Cure, released on 21 April 1992.
Generally well received by critics, Wish is one of the band's biggest commercial successes, if not their biggest, with over 2,500,000 copies sold worldwide. It topped the charts in the UK and Australia and peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 in the United States.
It generated three singles, High, Friday I'm in Love, and A Letter to Elise, which charted in several countries and received a nomination for the Grammy Awards.
On 25 November 2022, Wish was reissued to mark the thirtieth anniversary of its release, in a remastered version featuring numerous bonuses (instrumental tracks, demos, remixes)
