26 April 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the death of Adrian Borland, from the band The Sound. On 5 December 1987, Adrian Borland left the stage during a concert of The Sound at De Boerderij. This was, later, the band's last concert. Adrian then recorded five more solo albums, but his illness, always lurking in the background, took hold of him and, on 26 April 1999, he took his own life. However, Adrian's story and the music of The Sound endure!
