(Subtract) is the sixth studio album by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. It was released on 5 May 2023 under the Asylum and Atlantic Records labels. A predominantly acoustic album, it was produced by Aaron Dessner on all tracks, with contributions from Fred Again, Max Martin, and Shellback, who also produced the first single "Eyes Closed". "Boat" and "Life Goes On" were the second and third singles released from the album, respectively. Also released as a visual album, it features music videos for twelve of its fourteen tracks (those for "Eyes Closed" and "Boat" were already available), premiered on the day of its release. This album follows = (2021), Sheeran's previous work, and is his last album with a mathematical theme.
