JOHNNY HALLIDAY - Rock a Memphis (LP)

In the studio in Memphis, Johnny Hallyday recorded thirteen rock'n'roll songs; twelve of the tracks are rock standards from the 1950s, adapted into French by Michel Mallory and Long Chris, with the exception of Tutti frutti, which was ultimately recorded in its original version in a powerful rendition, after they failed in turn to provide French lyrics for the classic by Little Richard. The thirteenth track is the only original creation of the album, Get Back Memphis written by Wayne Lamar Jackson, which after adaptation by Michel Mallory becomes Ma Mississippi Queen.
