Originally released on 23 January 1976, 'Station to Station' is David Bowie's tenth studio album. Forty-five years after its release, 'Station to Station' is now regarded as a musical bridge between the 'plastic' soul of 'Young Americans' (1975) and the experimental beginnings of Bowie's Berlin era with 'Low' (1977). The first single from the album, 'Golden Years', achieved resounding success on both sides of the Atlantic and is one of the five singles released from this six-track album (the title track was only released as a 7" in France and 'Stay' exclusively in the United States).
