Violent State is a live album by the legendary British punk band U.K. Subs
Most of it (20 tracks) was captured during their European tour in the summer of 2004
The album features the "classic line-up" consisting of Charlie Harper (vocals), Nicky Garratt (guitar), and Alvin Gibbs (bass), accompanied by Jason Willer on drums.
It includes classics like Warhead, Stranglehold, and Tomorrow's Girls, as well as a previously unreleased track at the time, Works.
Regarded by fans as one of their best live recordings, it is often compared in quality to the legendary Crash Course from 1980.
