This concert is iconic for several reasons:

The band performed the entirety of their double concept album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

It was captured for FM radio broadcast on the East Coast of the United States, making it one of the clearest live recordings from this tour.

Although it was not an official studio release at the time, the show was widely circulated in the form of bootlegs, and more recently through semi-official releases such as the box set The Lamb Lies In Rochester Vol. 1 & 2.
